Travel Notes: When planning your travel, please use the information below as a guide to enjoy the full agenda.
 
Airport Option 1:  Brunswick Golden Isles Airport (BQK)
Plan for a 30-minute transfer to/from the resort
Arrival Time – Wednesday, November 6 – flight arrival before 3:00 PM
Departure Time – Friday, November 8 – morning or early afternoon flight departure

Airport Option 2: Jacksonville International Airport (JAX)
Plan for a 70-minute transfer to/from the resort
Arrival Time – Wednesday, November 6 – flight arrival before 2:00 PM
Departure Time – Friday, November 8 – morning or early afternoon flight departure


Note: Transportation to and from BQK or JAX airports and The Sea Island Resort is provided during the recommended travel times. FNBO covers lodging, food, beverages, and entertainment. Airfare is not included.


Airport Transfers – coordinated through Sea Island Transportation
Arrival at Brunswick Airport (BQK):

  1. Sea Island drivers will greet guests inside the Baggage Claim area.
  2. The driver will have a sign The Experience presented by FNBO.
  3. The driver will assist guests with luggage and depart for Sea Island.

Note: Drive time from Brunswick Airport to Sea Island is approximately 30 minutes.


Arrival at Jacksonville Airport (JAX):

  1. Exit at the North End of Baggage Claim (turn left at the bottom of the escalators). The Sea Island driver will be inside next to luggage carousel #1, holding a sign The Experience presented by FNBO.
  2. Once the driver and guest have met, the driver will pull the vehicle to the curb, assist with luggage, and then depart for Sea Island.

Note: Drive time from Jacksonville Airport is approximately 70 minutes.
The Sea Island staff has guests’ flight information and will monitor all arriving flights. Should your flight information change or, in the unlikely event that you cannot locate the Sea Island staff, please call or text Anne Friedrichsen (402-578-9350) and DeAnn Shaffar (402-871-3698).


Departure:
For your departure from The Sea Island Resort, please meet the Sea Island staff in the front lobby of The Cloister Hotel or the front lobby of The Beach Club. Transports will pick up from both locations.


Check-In – The Sea Island Resort
Upon arrival at The Sea Island Resort, you can check in at the Front Desk in the main lobby of The Cloister Main Building. Check-in time is 4:00 pm. We will do our best to accommodate earlier arrivals. As your accommodations become available, Sea Island staff will assist in transporting you and your luggage to your room.
Light pastries and coffee are available until 10:00 AM for those guests arriving on earlier flights.
In the event that you are unable to check-in prior to the start of our program, luggage storage will be available and there will be time to access your accommodations prior to departing for our evening festivities.


Weather:
Expect mild temperatures in the low-70s during the day and lower temperatures in the mid-50s in the evening.

Dress code for duration of event is Resort Casual
Evening Events – Both evening events will take place outdoors. Please note that evenings may be chilly, and it is recommended that guests bring a jacket or sweater
