Kimberly S. Weiss | Executive Vice President, Partnership | FNBO

Kim is the Executive Vice President, Partnership FNBO (First National Bank of Omaha). In her role, Kim is responsible for the bank’s credit card division, as well as the organization’s home improvement, point of sale and consumer lending areas. In this role, she oversees a comprehensive portfolio spanning marketing, partnership management, product and innovation, risk management, collections, fraud, call center operations, and business development. Kim also serves on the FNBO Board of Directors. 

Under her leadership, the Partnership Division drives enterprise-wide impact across FNBO through operational excellence, data-driven decisioning, and scalable efficiencies that support the broader bank. Kim partners closely with executive leadership with major co-brand and installment lending partners to deliver profitable growth, strengthen customer engagement, and advance innovation through collaborative partnerships in unsecured consumer lending and payments. Over her more than 20 years with FNBO, Kim has held progressive leadership roles across partnership management, mortgage banking, audit, and financial reporting. Her depth of experience—from product and risk oversight to regulatory governance—positions her uniquely to align strategic growth with disciplined execution and a strong risk culture.

Kim began her career with Ernst & Young’s Assurance and Advisory practice before joining FNBO. She holds both a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Accountancy from Texas Christian University. Her commitment to community leadership includes board service with Boys and Girls Clubs of the Midlands, The Salvation Army, and Omaha Children’s Museum. 


Doug Brown

Brett Worick | SVP Partnership Management | FNBO

Brett Worick is Senior Vice President of Partnership Management at FNBO, bringing more than 20 years of experience across consumer lending, product management, and marketing. In his role, he leads FNBO’s Partnership Management organization, overseeing Credit Cards, Home Improvement Lending, and Unsecured Consumer Lending (UCL), focusing on building strong, results-driven partnerships and scalable growth platforms.

Brett’s FNBO tenure spans more than 15 years within the credit card division, where he led teams responsible for the full customer lifecycle – from acquisition to long-term engagement and retention. His leadership in Direct Mail Marketing helped shape FNBO’s approach to customer targeting and segmentation, product strategy, and direct response marketing, helping translate data-driven insights into sustained performance.

Brett has also led FNBO’s consumer loan businesses, providing strategic direction across Home Equity Lending, Auto Loans, and lines of credit. Most recently, he guided the build and launch of FNBO’s Point of Sale Lending solution, Slice by FNBO, and led its expansion into Home Improvement Lending in 2022 following FNBO’s acquisition of AmeriFirst. Known for his collaborative approach, Brett focuses on aligning teams, partners, and strategy to deliver customer value and long-term business impact.

Matthew Spyers | Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer |

Matt Spyers serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer at FNBO. He has been with FNBO for nine years and is responsible for Information Technology, Information Security, and First National Technology Solutions (FNTS). In this role, he leads the bank’s technology strategy, ensuring the delivery of secure, scalable, and innovative solutions that enhance customer and employee experience, along with operational performance.

Matt’s background includes more than three decades of technology leadership experience across financial services and consumer products. He serves as Executive Chairman of the Nebraska Tech Collaborative, where he leads efforts to advance Nebraska’s technology ecosystem through innovation and talent development, and is a member of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln College of Engineering Advisory Board. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Systems Engineering and an M.B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis.

Marc Butterfield is the SVP of Product & Innovation, Partnerships Division at FNBO. With 25 years of experience spanning product development, product marketing, and innovation, Marc leads FNBO's Product & Innovation Team and drives market expansion and new product initiatives within the Partnership division.

Throughout his career at FNBO, Marc has held pivotal leadership roles across Digital Banking, Marketing, Consumer Lending, Credit Risk, and Product Development.

Marc has spearheaded several groundbreaking projects, including FNBO's unsecured consumer lending (UCL) business, as well as pioneering efforts in digital banking, transaction enrichment and card-as-a-service platforms that informed the bank's evolving product strategy.

Marc's innovative contributions have earned him recognition as an American Banker Innovators of the Year award recipient (2023). He serves on the ABA's Innovation Committee and Investment Committee, as well as Canapi's GenAI Council and Tearsheet's Product Council. Fun fact: Marc is the recipient of the Key to the City of Omaha.
